Orosi Volcano

Driving into Costa Rica from Nicarauga, Orosi Volcano looms large on the left -- the most northwestern volcano in Costa Rica. The dormant crater is located within Guanacaste National Park and, like its sister Cacao Volcano, is home to transitional cloud forest important to wildlife migrating between the Pacific coast and inland highlands.
